What information does CompareWise collect?

CompareWise does not collect, log, or store personal information through normal use of the app. No registration or account is required.

Information you create inside the app, such as comparisons, notes, favorites, streak information, or reminder preferences, is intended for the app's functionality and is not collected or stored by Kupfer.

If an internet connection is used to access an external resource, ordinary network-level technical data may be processed transiently by the relevant network infrastructure. Kupfer does not retain this information for tracking or profiling through CompareWise.

Precise location data

CompareWise does not collect precise real-time location information from your device.

Third-party access and sharing

Because Kupfer does not collect personal information through normal use of CompareWise, there is no personal app data for Kupfer to sell, rent, or share with third parties.

CompareWise does not use collected personal data for behavioral advertising or user profiling.

Data Retention

Kupfer does not retain personal data from your normal use of CompareWise because the app does not collect or store such data on Kupfer servers.

Accordingly, there is no server-side CompareWise personal-data retention period. Any app content that exists only on your device remains under your control and is not retained by Kupfer.

If you voluntarily contact Kupfer by email or otherwise provide information outside the app, that correspondence may be kept only as long as reasonably necessary to respond, satisfy applicable legal obligations, or resolve a request, after which it can be deleted where permitted by law.

Data Deletion

There is no CompareWise account or server-side personal-data profile to delete. Kupfer does not hold personal app data generated through normal use of CompareWise.

To remove data stored locally by the app on your device, you can use your device's app-storage controls or uninstall CompareWise. The exact options available depend on your operating system.

If you previously contacted Kupfer directly and want information contained in that correspondence deleted, you can send a request to support@kupfer.ink. We will handle the request subject to any applicable legal retention requirements.

Opt-out rights

Since CompareWise does not collect personal information through normal use, there is no analytics or advertising profile to opt out of. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it from your device.

Children's privacy

CompareWise is not intended for children under 13 years of age, or a higher minimum age where required by applicable law. Kupfer does not knowingly solicit personal data from children through the app.

Because the app does not collect personal information through normal use, Kupfer does not create or maintain child user profiles.

Security

Limiting data collection is an important part of our privacy approach. Since Kupfer does not collect or store personal data from normal use of CompareWise, the amount of personal information exposed to server-side risk is minimized.

No technical system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Kupfer uses reasonable safeguards for the systems and correspondence it does operate.

Data breach notification

Since CompareWise does not collect or store personal data on Kupfer servers through normal app use, the risk of a breach affecting app-user personal data held by Kupfer is minimal. If a security incident affects personal information that you voluntarily provided to Kupfer outside the app, Kupfer will provide notification where required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

Kupfer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to CompareWise, applicable law, or our privacy practices.

Material changes will be published on this page together with an updated effective date. Where consent is legally required for a change, we will request it before the relevant processing begins.
